Trauma Therapy

Not everyone even realizes they have trauma. We think trauma only means the big things that happen to us. Being abused or assaulted; having a near death experience; maybe watching someone close to you die a tragic death. These things are definitely trauma, and they impact a person in multiple ways including nightmares, flashbacks, and mood disturbance, even physical responses. However, there are other kinds of trauma too. Some of them are more subtle. Emotional abuse, bullying, even things that happened before you can remember can be causing you to have trauma responses. There are treatments that can help you overcome symptoms from trauma, and Chris has completed a specialist certification in trauma work. If you think you may be experiencing the impact of one or more traumatic events, we encourage you to reach out for help. You don’t have to live like this.
